Guys, omg, we’re at the end T-T. It’s a bit bittersweet, but I actually have a few more KnB posts coming sometime in December so stay tuned! Thank you to those that followed me through this month long journey! I was able to do it daily, save for one day. With that being said….
ONE MORE DAY left! AHH!!
Today’s prompt for the [KnB Challenge] is my favorite quote from the series. Now, if you were following me around this time last year when I did the 30 Day Anime Challenge then this quote will probably look familiar. Yes, I’m bringing it back (so I can use the same image I created. ROFL, I’m kinda lazy)
Kagami says it best, There is no such thing as useless effort. This is the mantra I’m using to get me through my exams. I just got to keep putting in the work and the effort, and I’ll reach my goals in no time. Making an effort is better than no effort, so yeah, it’s not useless to better yourself no matter how hopeless things might appear to be!
What was your guys’ favorite quote from a character? Let me know your thoughts! 😀
ahh!! Tomorrow’s the final day! D:
Two Days Left of the [KnB Challenge]!!
Since yesterday we looked at the funniest moment of KnB, today we look at the saddest.
It wasn’t until my OWLS post about Aomine that really made me appreciate who he was, and realize the pain that he really endured. I had to re-watch a lot of these episodes for the post to get an idea. And this scene really broke my heart:
Aomine is utterly frustrated by the lack of competition with his talent blooming at a rapid rate. He walks out on team practices, and a mentor/coach should have found him and forced him to get back to practice and work with his teammates, after all, basketball is a team sport. But instead of whipping him into shape, the coach cowardly tells Aomine that he can just show up to games as long as he wins. Aomine is completely stripped of any hope he had been clinging onto to the sport that he loved so dearly. This is the moment the switch in Aomine is flipped as he embraces being a basketball god that no one can touch, even his friendship with Kuroko starts to break down at this point.
Ugh, so heartbreaking to see Aomine’s breakdown in this scene under the bridge in the rain.
What would you say was the saddest moment of KnB? Let me know in the comments below! 🙂
Hey guys! Welcome back to Take Two! My official round-up post for the previous week. In case you’re new around here, this post essentially recaps last week’s posts among other gems found over the week onto one page!
Guys, there’s only 3 DAYS LEFT to my [KnB Challenge]!
Kuroko no Basket is filled with a lot of comedic moments. The funniest are clearly from the NG-Shuu shorts, but I don’t think I can claim any of those for this. So, aside from my “Japanese Lunch Time Rush” clip that I’ve been showing a few times already, I’d have to go with…
The Scene when Murasakibara meets Kagami and plucks his eyebrows is hilarious! But the best part comes a bit later when Kagami decides to provoke Murasakibara like a 5-year old and well, Kagami gets him hook line and sinker, and then continues to taunt him at the beginning of the game. LOL.
What’s your favorite funny moment of the series? Let me know in the comments below! 😀
Welcome back to the [KnB Challenge]!

If I really had to choose between the anime or the manga, I can’t really choose because, I’ve only just started the manga. So it wouldn’t be fair to just say the anime is the better of the two.
Which do you guys prefer?
Welcome back to my [KnB Challenge]!
Today’s feature is about something I wish I knew more about. There’s actually a lot of things I wish they could elaborate on, but there’s one thing I wish was given to us. Irina brought it up in a recent fangirl session, but it was a very valid point. Continue reading “[KnB Challenge] Day 25 | Something I Wish I Knew More About”
It’s the last Friday of November! I can’t believe how fast Novemeber flew by! D:
Today’s feature is my Least favorite match. I think this should be fairly simple considering which character I hate the most.
Happy Thanksgiving from California everyone!! I’m super full and am slowly succumbing to food coma, and am tempted to just binge on some video games. I’m just started Rise of the Tomb Raider for PS4, so please feel free to follow my progress on my twitter @heyitszel and the playthrough tag #ZelRaidsTombs. But alas, before I get down to that, I am here to fulfill my KnB post for Day 23 of the [KnB Challenge]!
Due to the plethora of matches found within KnB, it’s actually kind of hard to narrow down my favorite matches, I found all of them to be fulfilling in terms of growth of character’s. However, sometimes they did really a bit drawn out. I’m sure a lot of you will agree with me on that. You know, it’s really tough because there’s two that really stand out to me…So…I’ll give you both.. and honestly they kind of play in to one another anyways.
TGIF! And we’re back with Day 22 of the [KnB Challenge]
Like most of the character’s on the show, the team unifroms came in a myriad of colors. However, most of them are a lot more tame in colors than you’d think. As for my favorite Team Uniform, I’d have to go with….. Continue reading “[KnB Challenge] Day 22 | Favorite Team Uniform”
