Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! I hope you’re having a great day whether you’re a single pringle (lol, what LitaKino from KinoReviews would say) or in a loving relationship. I hope you are celebrating today with lots of love. And as Kageyama in the header says, “…what does this mean?” Well, keep on reading!
Today’s special post started off as a passing thought brought up by blogging bestie Mel. We decided to bring aboard Irina, our newest recruit due to our shared love of KnB and other bishies and ikemen.
The rules of the post were that each of us picked an anime in which we would choose ‘ships for someone else to write about. Obviously we picked ones that we were either partial to, or wanted to hear what they thought about. Honestly, for me, I chose really rare pairs from my anime of choice (Free! of course) to give to Mel and Irina. I wanted to know what they think, because in my head (and in the fanfic’s I’ve read) they work and are actually quite cute.
Mel chose the sport anime Haikyuu!! while Irina went with the more mature adult route in choosing Bungou Stray Dogs. When Mel told me her pick for me, I couldn’t help but laugh because I KNOW we both like this rare pair, so it’s a bit of a freebie for me to write about them. However, Irina’s choice from Bungou really has me thinking about it and having to re-visit these particular characters.
So, will these ship’s weather my storm of judgement or will they sail through calm waters? Continue reading “[Collaboration] Will This ‘Ship Sink or Sail?”
Good evening everyone! I’m a bit late again with my weekly post, but the weekend was a bit busy (but really what else is new right?)
This week’s feature is a bit of an oldie, but a goodie!

Hey hey hey! It’s time for yet another MCM! I haven’t fully worked out how I’ll be approaching my MCM posts from now on (now that I’m without prompt) but! fear not, I come with a very special bishie: Akaashi Keiji.
Now, as you know Haikyuu!! is no stranger to beautiful men (as is most sport anime’s). Especially, the setters (I call them the pretty setter brigade). But I wanted to feature Akaashi today because this beautiful boy’s birthday is tomorrow: December 5th.
Tanjoubi Omedetou Akaashi-san!

LOL, okay I’ll apologize for such a pun of a title. It’s horrible. I could’ve changed it, but I’ve decided to keep the cheesiness of it. So, Sorry not sorry, I guess? With that being said, this week’s MCM features my top 10 orange-haired men.
10. Robato Hatohara (Robot X Laserbeam)
The newest character to add to my ever-growing obsession with sports anime. Robato hails from the new manga Robot X Laserbeam, a manga about Golf, from the mangaka Tadatoshi Fujimaki, the creator of my beloved Kuroko no Basket. Robato’s nickname is “Robo-Kun” as he is expressionless, straight-faced, and completely honest (very much like Kuroko). His classmates basically see him as a robot due to all of his mannerisms. Also, he’s a megane!! Who doesn’t love meganes! ❤

Welcome back to another eye-candy filled MCM to kick off your week! Last week I featured some white-haired men; this weeks goes a few shades darker in featuring my top 10 Silver/Gray haired men. Silver and Gray hair often denotes a type of distinguished, almost sophisticated appeal to a guy. While this may ring true for many of these characters, more often than not – it doesn’t apply!
8. Shogo Haizaki & Chihiro Mayuzumi (Kuroko no Basket)
This list wouldn’t have been complete without a KnB character making an appearance. There are two men in this anime with grey hair. I had a hard time choosing so I decided to leave them in a tie. Haizaki is Kise’s counterpart on the show. Yes, we all know my love for Kise (see my twitter) is undeniable, so why would I pick his arch-enemy to be on the list? He’s the ultimate bad boy on KnB, actually he’s probably the worst guy on KnB, forget being of the bad boy type, he’s a total jerk! He slaps around his teammates and is the most selfish player on the court. He feels entitled because he’s talented; therefore representing everything that KnB does not promote. But still I’d choose Haizaki over Mayuzumi if I really had to. Unfortunately Mayuzumi is just a pawn to Akashi’s plan to win (see my red haired list – he’s number 1) and is easily cast aside when he’s no longer useful.

WCW is back!! I may start doing this post bi-weekly since I like to spend time really analyzing these women; I still haven’t decided quite yet. But today’s Crush is a bit on the more softer cuter lighter side of cool ass females; just because my OWLS post the other day was really heavy in content.
Hitoka Yachi was introduced in the second season of the sports anime Haikyuu!! She became Karasuno’s manager after Kiyoko Shimizu, the third year manager, recruited her looking for a replacement for when she graduates. Although she’s a first year like Hinata and Kageyama and mostly a side character, or as she would call it “Townsperson B”; there’s actually a few life lessons to learn in the very few episodes where she’s the center of attention!
5. Don’t Judge a Book by it’s Cover
Very early on in her introduction she’s shown to quickly judge people by their appearances. For example, she judges Hinata, assuming that he was a manager due to his height; until Hinata corrects her and she sees him in action. She also makes a similar mistake when she meets Coach Ukai, she thinks he’s a delinquent that’s stalking Kiyoko based on his blonde hair, ear piercings, and flip flops and is completely embarrassed when she finds out that he’s actually the Coach of the team.

Good morning everyone! I hope you’re all trying to combat your Monday Blues! I’m back with another list for MCM! Today I’ll be counting down my top 10 chocolate brown haired men. Hopefully some of these will bring a smile to your face 🙂
Oh, and it’s pretty clear this list is definitely filled with sports bias. Sorry, not sorry.
10.HEATH HASEKURA (PRINCE OF STRIDE: ALTERNATIVE)
Kicking off the list we have Heath from Prince of Stride. He’s the third year captain and a runner in Honan’s stride club. Heath is dependable kinda guy who’s got a bit of a manly spirit. He’s half British and half Japanese. One of his sister’s owns an international fashion company and has modeled a few times against his will, and modeled as a requirement for the company only to gain sponsorship for his stride team. Another dependable big brother type!

Ah, the Monday Blues. Probably the worst day of the work week. But feat not! I’m back with Man Crush Monday! What better way to keep away Monday blues than to have some eye-candy for a quick pick-me-up!
This week’s list features my Top 10 Raven Black Haired males! 🙂 Gah, the Top 3 are repeat males for MCM, but I swear I’ll get back to my individual posts, and also why I opted for a top 10 since the top 3 are givens!
HONORABLE MENTION: TUXEDO MASK
I had to include this guy. Forever the First Anime crush, and raven haired man I fawned over. You can read more about him here.
10. “MORI-SENPAI” TAKASHI MORINOZUKA (OURAN HIGH SCHOOL HOST CLUB)
Kicking off the list we have Mori-senpai. The strong silent type; a man of little words. He’s my third favorite host from Music Room 3! I’m just bummed I couldn’t find a better quality screenshots of him! (Totally off topic- I finally got the box set of OHSHC and I plan on reading it soon!!!)

This week’s MCM is a bit special; some of the following weeks may end up being a Top 5 list; because well it’s hard to choose one favorite. I may end up featuring each of these guys more in-depth but for now I shall list my top Megane’s! This also coincides with Naja‘s March Megane Madness theme. Ah, you gotta love alliteration. Be sure to check it out when you can: her first post is here.
