[Collaboration]: KnB’s Most Decisive Moments

When I started to fully investing a lot of my free time into this blog around this time last year, I came across another blogger that also seemed to be getting started. I started to become a frequent visitor of her blog as she and I had a lot of similar tastes in terms of anime’s we watched and it was apparent we both had a love for hot anime boyz.

What I didn’t know was that she’d become someone I’d become close to, to the point we talk regularly on the daily. All day, everyday (unless one of us is really busy). She’s become my blog bestie who I can rant and rave (read: fangirl) with about anime, manga, hot boys, and also every day life.

We’ve been talking about writing this collab post for quite some time, but when I first brought it up I was in exam mode, and after exam mode was the KnB Challenge, and we just never sat down to figure this out. And now that we finally have, it’s come to my attention that we started talking exactly around this time last year, so with that being said, Happy Friend-versary Mel!

To mark our friend-versary, we’ve chosen our Top 3 Kuroko no Basket moments, to feature on each other’s page and discuss why they’re stand-outs. Oh and also, today was chosen for a very specific reason as well. Today is the birthday of the captain of the Generation of Miracles (and also one of my personal favorites) Akashi Seijuro! Happy Birthday Akashi!!!

So, without further ado!

[KnB Challenge] Day 30 | What I Enjoy the Most About the Anime/Manga

Guys, omg, we’re at the end T-T. It’s a bit bittersweet, but I actually have a few more KnB posts coming sometime in December so stay tuned! Thank you to those that followed me through this month long journey! I was able to do it daily, save for one day. With that being said….

[KnB Challenge] Day 28 | Saddest Moment

Two Days Left of the [KnB Challenge]!!

Since yesterday we looked at the funniest moment of KnB, today we look at the saddest.

It wasn’t until my OWLS post about Aomine that really made me appreciate who he was, and realize the pain that he really endured. I had to re-watch a lot of these episodes for the post to get an idea. And this scene really broke my heart:

Aomine is utterly frustrated by the lack of competition with his talent blooming at a rapid rate. He walks out on team practices, and a mentor/coach should have found him and forced him to get back to practice and work with his teammates, after all, basketball is a team sport. But instead of whipping him into shape, the coach cowardly tells Aomine that he can just show up to games as long as he wins. Aomine is completely stripped of any hope he had been clinging onto to the sport that he loved so dearly. This is the moment the switch in Aomine is flipped as he embraces being a basketball god that no one can touch, even his friendship with Kuroko starts to break down at this point.

Ugh, so heartbreaking to see Aomine’s breakdown in this scene under the bridge in the rain.

What would you say was the saddest moment of KnB? Let me know in the comments below! 🙂

[KnB Challenge] Day 16 | Favorite Tōō Character

Welcome back to the [KnB Challenge].
We’re at Day 16, can you believe it, we’re Halfway there already!

Day 16 continues by looking at another rival team, Team Tōō. In the first season of KnB, they are the biggest rival as the Ace of the team Aomine, which set’s up the story between him and main protagonist Kuroko. Tōō can be depicted as the bad guys due to their mysterious nature and seemingly bad guy attitudes.

With that being said, my favorite non-GoM character is….
