I’m going to do something a bit different here. I won’t just link anime related posts. I’m opening this up to gaming, architecture, art, anything I’ve found worthwhile on the internet! (I’ve crossed our architecture and art as I’m creating a new series on this subject matter since they’re not anime-related)
WordPress:
- “Yuri!!! On Ice” cosplay compilation from AX2017: I love when Shoujo get’s super into stuff that she makes powerpoint presentations! Check out her compilation of images from AX2017 – specifically of YoI cosplayers!
- Monday in Music – Reason Living by SCREEN Mode: Mel has a fantastic music series. Last week she featured one of my Favorite OPs from SCREEN Mode. You should check it out! Not only does Mel know her bishies, but she knows her music too!
- At long last: Your Name: Scott’s review of Your Name is great! If you haven’t checked it out, be sure to give it a read! I’ll probably be following up with this with a post of my own.
- Fangirl Moment: Voltron Legendary Defender: Naja makes an appearance with her Fangirl Moment, and I am so happy to be reading stuff from her again! I’m even more excited to have found a fellow Lance lover! 😀
Non-Wordpress:
- There Wasn’t Much To Celebrate On This Year’s Mass Effect Day: N7 was unofficially Mass Effect day, and as a huge fan of the series, this was an interesting read. I’ve yet to have made it to Andromeda (still reading through all the bad stuff regarding this game) and still working through ME3, which also gets a lot of flack due to a lackluster ending. I’ll try to keep as unbiased as possible for that.
- Wizard and the Bruiser: I’ve been listening to a lot of Podcasts at work via Spotify, but I managed to find this particular duo’s podcasts in such a way that wouldn’t burden people’s pockets. On November 5th, this duo discussed Hayao Miyazaki. I feel like this podcast gives more background and history on their topic for a better understanding while trying to sprinkle in some analysis and commentary. Still, of the podcasts I’ve been listening to, Wizard and the Bruiser are fun to listen to and easy on the ears!
- Attack on Titan 2 Game Adds 5 More Playable Characters: As an Attack on Titan enthusiast, I am beyond excited for AoT2 coming! And with the announcement of even more players?! Count me in for sure!! Anyone on PSN that want to party up and take down titans?! Let me know your PSN Name!:D

OWLS POSTS:
We are a group of otaku bloggers who promotes acceptance of all individuals regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion and disability. We emphasize the importance of respect, kindness, and tolerance to every human being.
Our November tour looks at the theme of “Diplomacy”. The prompt is as follows:
Whenever we have a disagreement with someone, we use our words to express our thoughts and opinions. However, there are those who would rather use fists instead of words, those who forget that being “right” isn’t the most important thing, and those who lose sight of compromising and acknowledging differences in opinion and belief. Diplomacy is an important skill and tactic that not many of us have or are able to utilize properly especially in “social media wars” for sensitive issues and anime discourse—we just express our opinions without really listening. For this month’s prompt, we will be exploring some of the best negotiations scenes in pop culture media and discuss how effective these diplomatic moments are and what we can learn from them. We will also discuss why communication and listening are important traits to have and whether or not there are other means to enforce peace.Whenever we have a disagreement with someone, we use our words to express our thoughts and opinions.
