[OP/ED]: Silent Noise | The Future of Archi-Anime

Hey guys! I know, it’s been awhile since I’ve posted. I’m going to address some stuff after the break, but I just wanted to check in and let you guys know I’m still alive and kicking!

This week I’m featuring the OP from the otome game that I’m currently obsessed with Collar X Malice. The past few weeks I’ve been playing this game every opportunity I get (almost obsessively). It appears that I’m the type of gamer that goes all out, well, at least with Otome (I’m sure Naja can vouch for me on that at least).

Anyway, here’s what’s going on with me. I’ve been feeling a bit out of sorts since my Birthday on July 25th, in terms of my real life and my career. A few months ago I had mentioned I was trying to get my Architectural license, and basically it’s been a bit of a fail on that end. I always mean to study, but I’ve been feeling a bit apprehensive about the whole thing. In September 2016, I took my first exam and failed and it’s been hard to get back to it ever since. But I really just need to buck up and keep pushing till I pass. So that’s one of the things I’ve been dealing with.

But, I’ve bitten the bullet and signed up for an exam on October 23rd. I know I have what it takes, it’s just having the grit to stick to it and just get it done. So wish me luck!

Second, work. I’ve been meeting with my mentors at work a lot more because they want me to start getting ready to move up the ladder. So they’ve asked me to create a system for myself that let’s me back-check my work. So far, my list has been gaining steam, and the system works. However, I’ve also a bit stressed with the amount of projects I’ve been working as sole support to my boss. Handling entire drawing sets and coordinating with the consultants makes my brain want to explode sometimes. On top of all work responsibilities a few of my bosses have been applying pressure on me to take exams, which is why I’ve gone and scheduled one. With that being said, I’m just exhausted at the end of the day, so I’ll just play otome or watch anime.

Third, honestly, I’ve just be lazy as heck. I keep starting posts, but never finishing them. The backlog is insane! I have like 20+ posts that I’ve started but have lost steam. This is probably due to the fact that I’m just mentally exhausted with work-related stuff.

The rest of August has been completely packed with stuff going on. A late belated birthday party for myself, my friend’s photojournal launch which was be at a gallery, and then the Crunchyroll Expo.

That being said, I’ll be away from the blog for about another month or so. But I won’t be completely gone as I’m planning to spend the next couple of days scheduling posts  for the time being. I love this blog and I love the community, I can’t just let this hobby of mine die. I’m probably going to stick to doing OP/ED as something I will NOT schedule compared to everything else just to keep me engaged with you guys and to let you know how things are on my end 🙂

Some of the weekly series’ may take a backseat during this period of time. More specifically Take Two! Tuesday, solely because those are round up posts and I basically may not have time to compile things together, while others that are much easier to put together will thrive.

As always, I want to thank each and every one of you for keeping up with me so far, and thank you all for the love and support! I hope that you continue to support me in all my future endeavors!

I’m always up for a chat, so all of you are more than welcome to message me on LINE or a DM on twitter (which are all found on my contact me page). I’d love to hear from you so don’t be shy and send me a message! Fangirl with me about something, or better yet, pick my brain about architecture and anime! 🙂

So, tell me what’s new with you? Tell me anything! I haven’t heard from a lot of you as of late! 🙂

  1. Good luck on your exam. You can do it, kapatid! Just take everything a step at a time. And of course, I can’t thank you enough for filling in for me on OWLS. You were such a great help. /hugs/ Have a refreshing & productive break. You deserve it. Cheers!

  2. Real talk: I noticed your lack of posts and wondered about it, but since I can still find you on Twitter, I was not worried!! (^^) I know that RL gets crazy and hard sometimes. I also understand the pressures of an intensive job and tests/academics that make the only thing you feel up to doing in and of an evening playing otome (read, You’ve seen my Hakuouki tweets…), so if you ever need to vent it out, you know how to get ahold of me! (Also, yes, fangirl-ing with you is super fun. Everyone should do it. And I HAVE to play CxM, which I think Husband is getting me for my birthday next month… *hehe*)

Also, I really wish you lots of good luck on your test this time around. If you pass (Go, girl, go!!), it’s party time. If you don’t, well virtual cinnamon buns will be delivered to help you try again.

  3. First off: really great to see a post from you again, I have really missed reading them. I’m sad to see real life has not been very good, but you should also be very proud of yourself that you take the plunge with your examn. I wish you good luck with it, and will keep my fingers crossed for you. Believe in yourself: you can do it!.
As for blogging: take as much time as you need. Blogging should be fun, and never stressful 😊
