• [OP]: Love Sniper | Sunday Salutations: I was so so obsessed with how hilarious this short form anime was. The song is short but it’s catchy.
• 10 Swordsmen That are a Cut Above the Rest: These titles are progressively getting cheesier.
• [OWLS Blog Tour]: Mob Psycho & Being Your Own Worst Enemy: I look at Mob Psycho 100 and the parallel’s I found with Mob and myself, and I take a look at the relationship between Mob and Reigen as well.
• The Wild Architecture of Nanbaka: For the revivial of Fantasy Friday I kicked it off with the anime Nanbaka and it’s super colorful prison scheme.

I’m going to do something a bit different here. I won’t just link anime related posts. I’m opening this up to gaming, architecture, art, anything I’ve found worthwhile on the internet! (I’ve crossed our architecture and art as I’m creating a new series on this subject matter since they’re not anime-related)

• FIRST IMPRESSIONS: WELCOME TO THE BALLROOM:Leth has a great first look to what is shaping up to be one of my favorites for the season. I really look forward to this particular show every week, constantly refreshing my browser to see if it’s updated. It also seems we noticed a few things that inspired us to write about it. I have yet to publish my first impressions so please stay tuned for that! 🙂
• Let’s Show Our Support for The Masquerade Killer!!: Naja features another kickstarter project for a visual novel! It looks like a super interesting one, so give it a look and if you like what you see, you should definitely back it!

• Castlevania (Netflix): A Too Quick Ride to the Maw of Hell: An interesting look at Netflix’s Castlevania.
• Watch Linked Horizon’s Attack on Titan Concert Performances: Check out the Live Performance of Linked Horizon!
• The First Footage From Avengers: Infinity War Blows Away Even Your Wildest Expectations: Footage was shown at the D23 expo! Unfortunately the writers were forced to describe it than show it. But still check it out!

OWLS POSTS:

We are a group of otaku bloggers who promotes acceptance of all individuals regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion and disability. We emphasize the importance of respect, kindness, and tolerance to every human being.

Our June tour looked at the theme of “Mirrors”. The prompt is as follows:

Magic mirror, on the wall—who is the fairest one of all?”

When we look in the mirror, what do we see? Do we see ourselves or someone we don’t want to be? For this month’s theme, we will be exploring some of our favorite anime and other pop culture media that redefine individual beauty—inside and out. Some topics we may explore are physical appearances, social expectations on gender, and the importance of self-confidence.
